Tættere på det levede liv – a national initiative for better lives

In collaboration with Realdania, BL – Danmarks Almene Boliger, the Danish Association of Architects, and eight partners across healthcare, housing, and local government, not a box has developed a national initiative focused on quality of life and well-being through community-based healthcare and prevention practice.

The aim is to mobilise public and private actors, NGOs, and civil society to co-create scalable and systemic solutions for the future of Danish healthcare. In 2023, the collaboration resulted in the publication of Tættere på det levede liv – available online and in print via Realdania.

The initiative continues to shape the national conversation on sustainable welfare and health, with Sund By Netværket – part of WHO’s Healthy Cities Network – the central facilitator in the ongoing mobilisation and implementation process.
