Conceptualising the hospital of the future for Region Skåne
In collaboration with Region Skåne, we have developed a concept book outlining the operational and architectural vision for a new hospital in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The book, as well as the strategic concept behind it, is titled “Människan i centrum” - Swedish for “People at the centre”.
Based on a series of development workshops and in-depth analyses of both the future of Swedish healthcare and Region Skåne’s existing hospital structures, we have helped establish a strategic starting point for the hospital’s continued development. The project builds on several years of work and draws on not a box’s extensive experience with hospital development in Denmark.
Last week, the first printed copies of the concept book arrived at our offices in Store Kongensgade. On Tuesday 27 January, Søren Sünksen travelled to Helsingborg to present the book to the working group and the new programme management team.
We are proud to have contributed to the early phases of such an important project for Region Skåne. A warm thank you to the entire working group for their commitment and collaboration – and especially to Annicka Westrin, Mona Löyskä Svensson and Ingvar Celander for their strong engagement and dedicated efforts.
