Anchoring welfare technology in Central Denmark Region

A strategic process to anchor welfare technology and digitalisation in Central Denmark’s social services – aligning ambition, stakeholders, and funding to ensure long-term impact and implementation power.

Approach
To support the future direction of welfare technology and digitalisation, not a box is facilitating a three-phase process in collaboration with the Institute for Communication and Assistive Technology (IKH). The process focuses on clarifying ambitions, engaging stakeholders, and co-developing a sustainable organisational and funding model.

Activities include mapping existing initiatives, conducting interviews, and hosting workshops to consolidate a shared vision and define actionable strategies. The approach ensures alignment across political, administrative, and operational levels, while leveraging not a box’s expertise in cross-sectoral innovation.

Impact
The process will deliver a strategic proposal for political decision-making and a mobilisation package to ensure broad ownership and implementation capacity. By engaging municipalities, funders, and internal actors, the region is positioned to lead in digital transformation and social innovation.
